We embraced the modern styling of this 17-story affordable rental, mixed-use building in the heart of downtown San Diego with clean lined furniture and pops of color. This award-winning project features an eco-roof garden, a solar photovoltaic system built as a vertical façade on the south side of the building and a solar hot water system above the roof.
Tasked with bringing an old building back to life and creating a modern home for senior residents, Chameleon Design updated community spaces with midcentury modern designs inspired by the glory days of the Rat Pack. The residents were very pleased with the results and one even said, “He didn’t know if he was rich or poor, and he couldn’t wait to invite his friends over to visit him.”
