Plan 3 at Aurora in the village of Esencia is a 3 bedroom/2.5 bath home designed with a transitional style, including accents of rustic woods that enhance the updated Farmhouse styling at Aurora. Warm wood flooring was taken up the walls in the living and dining rooms and offset with beautiful porcelain tiles on the floors in order to not have too much wood in the decor. The master bedroom has a soothing feel with creamy linens and whites, while the little boy’s room has pops of golden maize. The girl’s room is adorable with a bright persimmon wall and accents of white and maize.

Chameleon Design Featured Project: Artisan Collection, Lot 11 // Ladera Ranch, CA

Artisan Collection, by William Lyon Homes, is a collection of 14 homes nestled in the guard gated community of Covenant Hills. With Plan 11, you get the old world charm that is quintessential Provence style, updated with warm materials that will make you so at home you’ll never want to leave.

This home is all about the details! From authentic curved walls with a cat face finish that are trimmed with stained wood casings to wood-paned French casement windows to replicate the original. There are also hand forged iron railings and one of a kind handpicked chandeliers throughout. At the entry you’ll find a subtle patterned French limestone accompanied by French oak planked floors that run through the rest of the home. The interiors spaces flow right out to the exterior living spaces which creates a perfect place for entertaining. Upstairs you’ll find the kids rooms and a large loft-style retreat where they can kick back. There is a private suite for a nanny as well, with a separate entrance from outside.  And just when you think you’ve seen it all, climb one more flight of stairs to the “Sky Room” which is really the parents retreat. It makes a great place to relax and enjoy the perfect sunset or even view the ocean on a clear day.

Chameleon Design Featured Project: Brighton Oaks, Plan 4 // Morgan Hill, CA

Plan 4 is a 2,200 square foot townhome with 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths. We had a lot of fun designing this model and really mixed things up with the style. The decor is a combination of modern and mid century designs, which we punched up with painted Indonesian accents in tan and white with teal and citron accents. The accent paint is a rich chocolate brown that looks incredible with the plank flooring. The patio has a good amount of space and is ready to entertain with a BBQ and large dining table.

Chameleon Design Featured Project: Brighton Oaks, Plan 3 // Morgan Hill, CA

Plan 3 is the largest model offered at Brighton Oaks, at 2,440 square feet. It’s a center townhouse, so there are no windows in the sides, only in the front and back. There are 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms and this model was designed with an “updated cottage farmhouse” feel. The color palette has shades of white, fun pops of cobalt blue and canary yellow and linen and raffia textures. Tongue and groove paneling and cabinetry in white nicely compliment the pine and reclaimed wood furniture, creating a crisp, updated look. The deep seating on the outdoor patio is a great bonus to this plan.

Chameleon Design Featured Project: Brighton Oaks, Plan 2.2 // Morgan Hill, CA

Brighton Oaks offers buyers an impressive selection of three-story attached homes in a tech-industry friendly neighborhood in Northern California. The style was inspired by the historic row town architecture in Boston, with a contemporary edge.

Plan 2.2 offers almost 2,000 square feet of space with 3 bedrooms/3.5 baths and a den. Our look for this plan was a “natural rustic” design using heavy textures nicely juxtaposed with modern pieces with clean lines. Paint and fabrics were done in neutral greys and oatmeal with black accents. A focal wall of textured wallpaper in the kitchen grounds the living and dining areas that are all connected. In addition, we love the way the painted wood stair railing turned out, as it really elevated the look of the entire home. And last but not least, there is a bonus room on the first floor that we turned into a cool man den, complete with a masculine brick wall hung with sports jerseys. We know our husbands would never want to leave!

Chameleon Design Featured Project: Canvas, Plan 2 // Lakewood, CA

The Canvas collection of attached homes are conveniently located in Lakewood, near Long Beach. The architecture and color scheme of the building exteriors are contemporary and we designed the interiors to compliment that style. Plan 2 has three bedrooms and two baths and was given a clean, fresh look with light wood flooring and darker wood cabinets and furniture. A neutral paint palette of cream tones covers the walls which provide a perfect canvas for colorful pop art placed throughout the space. Bits of turquoise and mid-century modern pieces finish off this fun look.

Chameleon Design Featured Project: Canvas, Plan 1 // Lakewood, CA

Canvas is a new collection of well-priced town homes in Lakewood, California. The contemporary exterior architecture and color scheme were creatively planned to appeal to the aesthetic of a younger buyer.

Plan 1 is the smallest of the three plans, with 2 bedrooms/2 baths. It has a modern style and a neutral color palette, incorporating pops of color. Walls were painted in creams and warm wood floors provide a nice contrast. White brick walls, a modern glass backsplash and white kitchen cabinets keep it looking fresh.  Bright colorful artwork collections, pillows and accessories add color.
